Siren - 2024

shooter:

Two wheels, four-wheel parallel shooter, four-wheel parallel shooter with timing belts, and rollers on another axis with a variety of wheels. For mounting the shooter motors, we designed wheels with a center hole to be employed to suspend the motors. We built the entire mechanism at a high level and integrated it with the rest of the parts of the robot.

Calypso - 2023

Telescope:

We built and tested parallel rollers with 4-inch blue wheels at the end. They were interfaced with the intake system and supported by custom wheels.

Our telescopic mechanism has a rotation axis that allows for vertical movement. Suspended on this axis is an arm with another profile supporting a gear rack, giving smooth motion. A claw is attached at the end of the profile, and when the telescope closes, its top part remains exposed.

The Kraken - 2022

shooter and shooter:

Our shooting mechanism is more simple comparatively and for the lower hub, faster and more precise than the top hub. The shooter is an aluminum assembly with a polycarbonate ramp, and three wheels mounted to a Falcon motor fire the ball. The intake system, which has been improved many times, consists of four steel rods with mecanum wheels for picking up the ball from either side of the robot to provide smooth and efficient movement of the ball.
